Exeter One Day Workshop Saturday 4th June – Menopause Support

Helping Women through the Menopause with free information, on-line shopping, supportive chat areas, empowering workshops & 1:1 advice

Exeter One Day Workshop Saturday 4th June

An intensive, informative day, in a beautiful, quiet setting.

This full day workshop is based on the Menopause Support Programme and aims to touch on a range of topics such as: symptoms & treatment options, nutrition, feelings & emotions, weight control, supplements and relaxation.

The One Day workshop is designed to give you an overview on what to expect with the menopause and alternative strategies on how to cope. Due to the time restraints of the day we are unable to go into any one subject at great depth, eg. HRT, however the Menopause Support Journal, which is yours to take away, is packed with all the information and advice to help you through this stage of your life.

During the day there will be plenty of time to ask questions, try products and taste different foods and practice relaxation techniques. Tea breaks and lunch time give an ideal opportunity to enjoy chatting with like-minded women.

Exeter Golf & Country Club is based in a magnificent country house, which provides conference and meeting facilities, as well as being the clubhouse.

The Club has offered a sympathetic welcome to our previous workshops here and provides comfortable, secluded accommodation with private refreshment facilities, as well as access to the main bar and restaurant for those wishing to take advantage of a wide menu for lunches.

You are welcome to take advantage of the pool and leisure facilities of the Club, if you wish to relax after the course, and we can provide details of some good local B&Bs; too.

Should I consult my GP?

Although all the Menopause Support Advisors will do their best to help you, they are not medically qualified. Their advice and the information from the Menopause Support Programme is not a substitute for taking proper medical advice. If you have major or continuing concerns over your condition, we recommend that you consult your GP.
